The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt should satisfy players who love variety during a game's closing moments. CD Projekt Red managing director Adam Badowski told Polygon that there will be 36 different endings to the game. How's that for an open world experience!!

What the 36 different endings translate to is a plethora of choices amidst its 100 hours plus of gameplay. "The game is quite complex," said Badowski. "We didn't mean to develop something special for the endings, it's a natural consequence of the story line. The story had hundreds of different branches and sub plots. We have to just sum all of those elements up in the epilogues. Some of these elements are taken from the very beginning and some from other moments of the storyline. All of them will connect in the epilogue."

There will be three different playable epilogues, but the minor variations within those endings are staggering. When Polygon asked Michael Platkow-Gilewski, CD Projekt Red's head of marketing, to count all the small changes within the epilogues, he said the development team stopped counting at 300!!
