A new trailer for The Crew just popped up, and if you were wondering just how much you'll be able to customize in Ubisoft's new racer, here's the answer: a whole lot.

The four-minute plus video focuses completely on customizing your own ride, from the wheels to the paint job and everything in between. Narrated by a woman that sounds oddly like GlaDOS, the video also goes over the different types of customization templates: street racing, performance, dirt racing, raid specification, and circuit racing. Not only do you have hundreds of different parts, but you also have many different formats in which those parts may fit. It's enough to make your head spin.

We love customization, so this new video is rather exciting news, but really all The Crew has to do to impress us at this point is let us play online. With the trouble that DriveClub is having over on the PS4, the door is wide open for The Crew to come in and challenge Forza Horizon 2 to be the top racing dog this year. We'll see what happens.

Also, this just in from The Crew's official website, it looks like we'll be able to get a taste of what The Crew has to offer sooner than we thought:

"It will soon be the time to jump into The Crew for another Closed Beta. From Thursday, Nov. 6 to Monday, Nov. 10, get ready to explore the entire USA on PS4 and Xbox One. Several changes and fixes have been applied since our last beta and more details will be shared with you in an upcoming patch notes. This beta being under no NDA, you will be free to stream, upload videos and share pictures with the community. If you haven’t registered yet, head over the beta page and pick your platform: www.thecrewgame.com/beta. See you soon on the roads!"

The Crew is due Dec. 2 for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, and PC.
