Just when you thought Agent 47 was on the go, he brought a sniper rifle to finish up the rest of his assassinations from afar.

Square Enix Montreal has announced that Hitman: Sniper is on its way to mobile and tablet devices. The studio is proud of the success it gained from its debut title, Hitman GO for the iOS and Android formats. and has decided to continue telling the portable story of Agent 47. Just before E3, Square Enix Montreal has decided to showcase this massively competitive sniping title.

Hitman: Sniper will play similarly to Io-Interactive's Hitman: Sniper Challenge, which was released prior to the launch of Hitman: Absolution. Sniper will force you to pick your shots logically so that you remain as inconspicuous as you can while not alarming the rest of your targets to your presence. The game will be free, but will offer in-game, freemium content for those who want to upgrade their rifle or gain access to special contracts asap.

Hitman: Sniper will be available later this year, and after the joys both Hitman: Go and the original Sniper Challenge brought, we can't wait to take Agent 47 with us wherever we are.
