Slash Blasts His Way Into Angry Birds Space

Rovio has been busy today. In addition to making Angry Birds free for the first time and releasing a gameplay trailer for The Croods, they have added a Slash Bird to Angry Birds Space. Because ... why not?

The legendary Guns n' Roses guitarist also recorded a new theme song for the game! Turns out that Slash is a big fan of Angry Birds. And what does he get out of this whole thing (other than an honorary Angry Bird of his own)? There's a link inside the app to buy some of his music. Shocking.

Unfortunately, the update did not feature any new levels. But that can go by the wayside, since Rovio has been up to so much today.
