Sierra has announced that they will release the first chapter of King's Quest, their upcoming, multi-part adventure title, in July.

The first chapter, called King's Quest: A Knight to Remember, is going to launch in North America on July 28 for PC, Playstation 3 and PlayStation 4. Xbox 360 and Xbox One players will have to wait a day to get their hands on it, as those versions will launch on July 29. Expect to spend $9.99 on this first chapter. A Knight to Remember will feature the story of King Graham as he regales his granddaughter, Gwendolyn, with the tales of his adventures. The game will sport original locations, puzzles and characters that will set up for the rest of the chapters.

Sierra has also announced that it will be making a bundle available for purchased, which will include an additional, playable prologue. This will be called King's Quest: The Complete Collection and is now available for pre-order for $39.99 on the PlayStation Network and Steam. Xbox One players will be able to pre-order this bundle starting on July 7 on the Xbox Games Store.

This likely means that each chapter will cost $9.99. If you plan on playing through each chapter anyway, you might as well jump on the pre-order for The Complete Collection and save $9.99 while gaining access to the epilogue. There's no word on whether or not the epilogue will be available as a standalone in the future, so secure your download now.
