Search for buried treasure, catch scurvy, raise the sails and walk the plank in this pirate-filled trailer for Sea of Thieves.

Rare has returned to bring us Sea of Thieves, a first-person online multiplayer pirate game. Rare, known for their work on Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Conker, GoldenEye and Donkey Kong Country in the 90s, was purchased by Microsoft in 2002. This awesome trailer showcased what it was like being a pirate firsthand. In the trailer, the player got to explore a jungle, search for treasure, meet up with crewmen, take to the seas, engage the enemy in naval warfare (which are also manned by other players online) and participate in other pirate-y activities. Better have a bottle of rum stowed away, because it's always gone. We have a feeling that everyone is going to want to be at the wheel of the ship.

While no release date has been announced, Sea of Thieves will be hitting the Xbox One and PC.
