Pokemon X and Y Magazine Scans Reveal New Info
A new scan from an upcoming issue CoroCoro magazine has been released, courtesy of Serebii.net, and shows us some of the new creatures and features in Pokemon X and Y.
Thanks to some translations from Serebii.net's friend, Gin, we know the game is set in a region called Karos, which is loosely based on France. This might have been hinted at thanks to the appearance of an Eiffel Tower-like structure in some previously-released screenshots.
Gin also translates some of the names of a few new Pokemon, such as a grassy goat-like creatured called Gogoat that can be used as a mount in the field. There's also an Electric/Normal-type lizard called Elikiteru, a bird called Yayakoma, and a Fighting-type panda called Yancham. On an unrelated, but still somewhat interesting note, you will apparently be able to customize your trainer's look to a degree by messing with skin tone and hair color.
Now, keep in mind that none of this information has been confirmed, so take everything with a grain of salt. But hey, any tidbit of Pokemon information is enough to get us excited. Let us know what you think about these new findings in the comments section.
