Junpei Iori, the lovable goof from Persona 3, is making his way to Persona 4 Arena Ultimax as a combatant!

The new trailer starts off with Junpei daydreaming on a train and eventually missing his stop. Ever since the events of Persona 3, he's gone on to become a little league coach while still retaining his trademark goofball antics. Once he gets off the train, a bit of wandering lands him in the TV world of the Midnight Channel to face off against Shadows and other Persona characters.

Being a little league coach, Junpei's attacks utilize his baseball bat and a whole lot of swinging. He also uses his persona, Trismegistus, which is the evolved form of Hermes when combined with the persona Medea. To complement his short attacks, Trismegistus seems to let loose with a flurry of long-range dashes and flame-imbued strikes.

We can't wait to see the two work in tandem when Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is released in Fall 2014 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
