Nolan North Reveals Naughty Dog is Working on The Last of Us Sequel
Nolan North, veteran voice actor, has seemingly leaked the news that developer Naughty Dog is at work on The Last of Us 2. And just assume there are spoilers for The Last of Us ahead.
You might know Nolan North as the voice of Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series, as well as a billion other projects in gaming, film and television. If you're a fan of The Last of Us, then you'd probably know that he voiced one of the antagonists, a man named David who had held Ellie captive in a ski town during winter, hell-bent on adding her to his number of cannibalistic survivors.
A video, shown above, has surfaced on YouTube, featuring Nolan North himself taking questions at a panel at a convention called Metrocon, which is an anime-focused convention that was held in Tampa, FL from June 11-14.
During the panel, he was asked if he was working with Naughty Dog on any more projects, to which he replied, "For now, I know they're doing Last of Us 2, but my character in Last of Us kind of met an untimely demise."
According to Polygon, Troy Baker, the voice actor who played The Last of Us protagonist Joel, appeared at a convention called Indy PopCon 2015, which was held from June 26-28, this past weekend. During his panel, he was asked about the sequel, to which he replied that he didn't know if Naughty Dog was working on one.
Check out the videos of the panels above and below and cross your fingers that The Last of Us 2''s release won't be too far into the future.
