A lot of great new releases are hitting the App Store this week, including more Chillingo games, a port of a Sega classic and a devilishly looking cartoon game! These games will be available to download just after 11:00 PM Eastern time in the U.S. Let's take a look at the new releases for this week! (Pricing and links will be made available when the games hit the App Store.)

  • Lexatron

    Fictorial

A brand new word game with a twist -- go from one end of the board to the other before your opponent. If your path is blocked, you can blow up some letters to advance. Sounds like a crazy word game that the staff at Arcade Sushi will be playing for a long time.

  • Devil's Attorney

    1337 Game Design

This crazy cartoon looking game has you working your way up from law bum to law star. Devil's Attorney takes place in the '80s, a decade filled with terrible fashion and awesome music. This game looks like it's going to be a lot of fun when it's released and we can't wait to play it.

  • E.T.: The Green Planet

    Chillingo

E.T. finally phoned home and now we get to see what he's been up to all these years later. E.T.: The Green Planet is a free game, that is currently available in the App Store. Grow plants and help save E.T.'s homeworld. If you get far enough, you might even be able to communicate with Elliott back on Earth.

  • Girls Like Robots

    Adult Swim

It's an Adult Swim title so it will probably make no sense and still be a lot of fun to play. Girls Like Robots is a puzzle game where you sit the girls next to robots, friends or enemies. It's really dopey looking, which means we're downloading it as soon as it hits the App Store. Can't pass up a dopey looking game!

  • Polara

    Hope This Works Games

Play as Agent Lara in this endless running game where you use color codes to activate ramps, switches and launching pads. If they had ever made a Tron free running platform game, it would have probably looked like this.

  • Reversion - The Escape

    Bulkypix

You've just woken up in a hospital in Buenos Aires and can't remember a thing. The year? 2035. With your life in danger, you must try and escape from your situation while trying to remember how you got their in the first place. Looks like a cool puzzle game.

  • Crazy Taxi

    Sega

Hey, it's a port of Crazy Taxi! The fun arcade game is finally making its way over to iOS, with some tunes by the band The Offspring. Where to, buddy? Doesn't matter, you're gonna pray you never stepped into this taxi cab!

  • Monopoly Millionaire

    Electronic Arts

Well, whaddya know? It's another Monopoly game! If you're not tired of buying properties and bankrupting your opponents, then you can continue to practice your Gordon Gecko ways by trying to become the first player to reach a million bucks. Compete with Pass n' Play or over local wi-fi. Shame there's no real online component to the game though.

  • Kumo Lumo

    Chillingo

Wouldn't be a week of new releases without a new Chillingo game! Kumo Lumo lets you take control of a cloud over 36 levels as you blast enemies with lightning bolts and use raindrops to grow forests. It's cartoony and cute and we're all over it when it hits the App Store.

  • Topia World Builder

A brand new sandbox world simulation game where you can create your very own world, complete with rivers, mountains and oceans, just by dragging your finger along the screen. We can't wait to make a giant mountain surrounded by candy corn. You can do that in this game, right?

  • Space Disorder

    Bulkypix

This cute looking outer space platforming game could be a sleeper hit when it's released in the App Store. Play as Noah, on a quest to rescue your alien friends from evil robots. The bright colors and great sound only compliment this charming looking side-scrolling adventure.

  • Save Them All

    Chillingo

Save Them All is a new endless runner by Chillingo. But this one has an interesting angle to it -- the scores reset everyday. Meaning if you want to be the top dog in this game, then you've got to constantly save them all to do it. Right now we're giving away 10 free download codes! Enter the contest because the game still isn't in the App Store as of Thursday morning!

  • Zombie Gunner

    Gamevil

Don't know much about this one except it's a side-scroller and you kill zombies. Honestly, do we need to know more than that? The game looks great, with wacky characters and tons of gore. Pick this one up if you're jonesin' to kill some undead freaks.

  • 2012 The End Escape

    Yeqing Lu

It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine. At least the song can be played in the background as you try and get as far as you can in nine cool cars. This doomsday game is an endless runner, but your goal is to make sure you don't become as extinct as the rest of the planet. Good luck with that!

  • Avernum 6

    Spiderweb Software

Were there really five previous Avernum games? There was Avernum: Escape From the Pit, but that's about it. Well, #6 it is then. This iPad only game has an enormous RPG world filled with hundreds of quests, dungeons, items and enemies. With over 50 spells and unique races, all that's missing is a 20-sided die.

  • BMX Jam

    Vivid Games

Put on your flannel and jean shorts or whatever it is these wacky BMX kids are wearing nowadays and set off for 60 action packed levels as you perform tricks and combos on your way to the finish line. With power-ups and boosts to assist you, you'll be gaining some massive air as you do Superman tricks or ... ok, so we have no clue what you do on a BMX bike, but the game looks like it's a lot of fun!

  • Funky Smugglers

    11 Bit Studios

Groovy, man! Let's try and smuggle some stuff through the airport! Right on! It's a 70's themed game about smuggling illegal goods through an advanced airplane scanner machine. Makes no sense, but that's ok. The game brings the funk, and that's all that matters. Can you dig it?

  • Lotsa Blocks

    Backabit LLC

Stack blocks as high as you can. And ... and ... maybe that's it? There's a two-player mode with over 140 levels so you'll be stacking like a mad man for hours. How high can you go?
