After redesigning Muramasa: The Demon Blade for the PlayStation Vita in Japan, Marvelous AQL and Vanillaware are now set to bring the former Wii title to the U.S.

Dubbed Muramasa Rebirth, the Westernized version of the Vita port will be published by Aksys Games. In addition to having some remastered graphics, Muramasa Rebirth will also include a host of new features specific to the Vita version.

There will be a new control scheme introduced, and Muramasa will be getting a whole new English localization, though the game's dual narratives will remain virtually the same. Four additional scenarios will be introduced as DLC this time around, which will include all-new characters to play with.

There is no release date in sight yet, and the game has yet to be rated by the ESRB (the Wii version was rated "T"), but just knowing Muramasa Rebirth is coming to the U.S. is good enough news for now.
