Sub-Zero and the rest of the gang could be donning some samurai outfits in the form of a Feudal Japan-themed DLC pack for Mortal Kombat X.

MP1ST reports that a possible leaked screenshot of Mortal Kombat X's upcoming downloadable content has revealed that a Feudal Japan DLC pack could be on the way. We have learned that NetherRealm Studio Executive Producer Shaun Himmerick has stated that MKX will be getting a DLC skin pack starting on day one of the game's release. We previously mentioned that MKX will have more costumed DLC content than any of the series' previous incarnations, resulting in up to five different outfit packs. A Feudal Japan pack would be perfect fit for a lot of the characters, especially Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kotal Kahn and Raiden. At the same time, it's a bit tough to imagine samurai-like outfits for Cassie Cage and D'Vorrah. We have also learned that NetherRealm Studios will not be revealing its full roster for MKX before its launch, as a couple of characters will remain unannounced until fans find them in the final version of the game.

In terms of upcoming characters, the rumor mill is filled with speculation as to who else could be joining the roster. Todd McFarlane recently mentioned that he'd like Spawn to join, whereas we've heard that the Predator could be a fighter as well. A recent issue of the Mortal Kombat X prequel comic focused on a gunslinger character named Erron Black, who we believe is likely to be on the official roster.

Mortal Kombat X will test your might when it launches on April 14 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
