League of Legends Gets More Than Just a Map Rehaul

Riot Games is working hard at making a new map for the Summoner's Rift game mode for its popular MOBA, League of Legends

Originally announced earlier this year, the new map for Summoner's Rift covered more than just splashing some new textures onto the battlefield. Polygon reports that this map update will feature re-imagined NPC monsters. Riot Games recognized that there were more things that needed to be updated in this map than just the river that didn't even seem to have water in it. Riot not only redid the two main monsters, dragon and baron, but also remade the jungle camps.

If you're anxious to try out Riot's new map, you can play it now on the AI and Team Builder game modes where it is temporarily allowing users to try the map out before Riot moves it into the Summoner's Rift mode.
