House of the Dead: Overkill Shooting its Way to iOS and Android

Next month SEGA has will release a mobile version of their bloody shooter House of the Dead: Overkill. According to the Japanese developer, the new version for iOS and Android will combine the Wii and PS3 versions of the game.

After getting some hands-on time with the game at GDC 2013 in San Francisco, Gamezebo reports that SEGA is not toning things down for the more casual mobile gaming market.

House of the Dead: Overkill - The Lost Reels will be just as gory as the previous entries, replete with head-splattering and limb severing. There will be two options for controlling the carnage -- touch controls or something accelerometer-based.

According to that report, House of the Dead: Overkill - The Lost Reels is expected to hit iOS and Android sometime in late April.
