Honeyslug has teamed up with artist Richard Hogg to bring us this behind-the-scenes look at Hohokum, the indie game coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

This brand new video gives us a look into what it took to bring the many different creatures and environments of Hohokum to life. Hogg explained a bit about how a majority of the things we see in the game were born from his sketchbook and how he worked with Honeyslug to build the game.

Hogg said, "People ask about why this game has this particular look to it and where the art style comes from. The honest answer is that it's pretty much how I draw."

Since he draws vector art, the characters and environments all have a clean look to them that come together to present a very unique looking game. Hogg provided more than the game's aesthetics by drawing different things and going to the developers to see whether or not they could make his creations a reality in the game.

Watch the video above and look out for Hohokum when it launches on the PlayStation Network in Summer 2014.
