PC gamers will get to re-reap what they sow now that Grim Fandango is returning to the platform where we first fell in love with it.

Double Fine Productions has announced via Twitter that Grim Fandango's remake is officially coming to PC, Mac and Linux. This means that the dark comedy adventure is returning back to where it first became famous. It would almost be considered blasphemy if one of the most monumental point-and-click adventures of all time wasn't going to be re-released on PC.

Tim Schafer's cult classic will bring back Manny Calavera so that he can save Mercedes' soul one more time. Originally a Sony exclusive for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, we're glad to see Double Fine decide to bring it Grim Fandango back to PC. Of course, this wouldn't have been possible without Disney acquiring LucasArts properties and Sony's longtime friendship with the house of Mickey.

While no launch window has been announced, we can now expect Grim Fandango on PlayStation 4, PS Vita, PC, Mac and Linux.
