Grand Theft Auto 5 Screenshots Show San Andreas’ Many Faces

A set of all-new Grand Theft Auto 5 screenshots have just been released, giving us all some long-awaited eye candy that lets us peek at what life is like in San Andreas.

And looking at some of the locales in the new San Andreas is much like seeing the grown-up face of a childhood friend; there's much that is different, yet it somehow feels very familiar.

A lot of the screenshots give us a taste of how the region will look at different times of the day and with different atmospheric conditions.

We're hoping the weather effects will be just as Thor-worthy as the screenshot of the Santa Monica Pier-inspired amusement park below shows.

There are also some examples of the weaponry we'll be seeing, such as that huge Gatling gun, as well as a shot of a scuba diver. Will we finally be able to dive deep into the waters of Grand Theft Auto game without drowning? We certainly hope so.
