Fire Emblem Awakening Getting All Sorts of Downloadable Content This Spring
Fire Emblem Awakening, one of the first big hits for Nintendo this year, keeps the tactical goodness coming with more downloadable content set for release over the next few weeks.
According to a press release from Nintendo, SpotPass content will be rolling out for the game soon, with the first SpotPass map becoming available for download today.
The March 14th, 2013 SpotPass map is call "A Hard Miracle" and stars team leader Chrom as he helps a mysterious woman rescue some villagers. Man, the villagers in Fire Emblem Awakening's world always seem to be getting into scrapes. We'd probably change area codes.
"Ghost of a Blade" will be available on March 28th, 2013 and features a ghost story and something concerning "an ultimate sacrifice." April 11th, 2013 sees the release of "The Wellspring of Truth" SpotPass map, in which players can take on a bunch of enemies on a new, challenging map. And finally, "The Radiant Hero" will drop on April 25th, 2013, in which we'll find Chrom and the gang looking for a legendary hero. We can only assume that it'll be a character from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, although Micaiah, that game's protagonist, is already available as a card through the Outrealm Gate challenges.
And of course, Anna will still deliver goodies to players every week or so through the Wireless menu in the game. We're looking forward to all of the new DLC and enjoy the fact that Nintendo has been pumping out more and more great content for the game.
How do you feel about all of this DLC that's been rolling out? Let us know in the comments!
