Those of you who have been waiting with bated breath to learn if your mobile device will fit inside the Fallout 4: Pip-Boy Edition can now stop wondering. Bethesda has released the list of compatible devices that will be able to fit inside the wrist-mounted accessory.

An update to the Bethblog finally tells us which phones will be compatible with the foam inserts included with the Pip-Boy. The official, confirmed phones are the iPhone 6, iPhone 5/5s, iPhone 4/4s, Samsung Galaxy 5 and the Samsung Galaxy 4. The update goes on to say that the customizable foam insert "should be able to fit most other popular smartphone devices," although you're probably going to have a hard time fitting much larger phones such as the iPhone 6 Plus in the Pip-Boy accessory.

Plus-sized phones will not be compatible with the foam inserts because Bethesda wanted to stay true to the dimensions of the in-game Pip-Boy. Any larger screens or devices would likely give off a different aesthetic and would probably require larger Pip-Boy accessories, so we understand the decision. But, even if you have one of those "phablets," you won't have to fear missing out on the second screen experience. The Pip-Boy companion app will still be available for all compatible iOS and Android devices, regardless of size, so you can access your menus regardless of whether or not it's through the plastic, wrist-mounted accessory.

If you were lucky enough to snag a Pip-Boy Edition pre-order, then now you know whether you have to change out your device or if you're good to go. Fallout 4 will be released on Nov. 10 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
