EA Announces Battlefield Hardline Premium Membership Program
The cops and robbers of Battlefield Hardline are going to get early access to the game's expansions and a ton of exclusive content if they sign up for its Premium membership.
As if fans needed another reason to want to buy Battlefield Hardline, Visceral Games has now announced its Premium program, which we saw a little over a year ago in Battlefield 4. This will be an exclusive program for a price, which will give fans not only new content, but also early access to Battlefield Hardline's DLC. Fans who decide to purchase Battlefield Hardline Premium will be awarded with four new features — exclusive Masks, Gun Bench, Competitive Play and Legendary Status — as well as two weeks of early access to all four of the game's story-oriented expansions. There will also be monthly rewards and access to exclusive in-game events you can't get anywhere else.
To get into detail, we'll start out with the masks. Each player will get new masks that will produce unique gameplay benefits, which coincide with the mask's theme. The Gun Bench will allow you to customize your weapons and track your kills. Competitive Play will allow you to put your skills to the test in Premium members-only tournaments and tournament ladders. Then there's Legendary Status, which adds a ton of replayability. The four expansion packs will include new multiplayer maps, modes, vehicles, in-game content and a story theme. The four expansions are called Criminal Activity, Robbery, Getaway and Betrayal. By dropping the extra cash for Battlefield Hardline Premium, you also get two weeks of early access to each of these expansion packs, 12 gold Battlepacks, new personalization options, access to double-XP matches, missions and exclusive events as well as priority position in server queues.
If you want everything mentioned above, you can get it all for $50 when Battlefield Hardline comes out on March 17. That would mean that you're dropping over $100 for Hardline, but it should be worth it if you're a Battlefield fan.
