Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut Goes Gold
Deadly Premonition's Director's Cut has finally gone gold, meaning that it will be shipped to retailers soon and jump into the waiting arms of horror/suspense fans.
Rising Star games has announced that the game has gone gold and will be released on April 30th, 2013, exclusive to the PlayStation 3.
Players will take on the role of special agent Francis York Morgan as he heads to a small mountain town to investigate murder most foul. He'll have to uncover who, or what, is behind the Red Seed Murders and contend with the supernatural on his hunt for the truth.
The Director's Cut features several changes from the original Xbox 360 version of Deadly Premonition, which include the following:
- New Scenario - A new scenario from the game's director, Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro.
- HD Graphics - The horror is now in eye-popping high-definition, letting you experience a more aesthetically pleasant murder mystery -- however weird that sounds.
- Improved Controls - Better mapping and controls means that combat won't be clunky or cumbersome. Fight the good fight, folks.
- Downloadable Content - Should you choose to expand the adventure beyond the original game, then pick up the DLC.
