We thought that "normal" and "hard" were pretty "easy" to understand, but Child of Light will be getting a patch to changing their difficult wordings.

Child of Light's two difficulty modes will be reworded from "normal" and "hard" to "casual" and "expert" in an upcoming patch, according to a Joystiq interview with writer Jeffrey Yohalem. Yohalem explained that he did not want players thinking that the normal difficulty was the default way to play the game. He also explained that RPG enthusiasts should play the expert difficulty while its casual mode is meant for people who want to experience the world of Lemuria without worrying about the challenge of combat. When Yohalem puts it that way, then this change makes much more sense... despite the poor wording choice.

Child of Light has launched earlier this week on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Wii U on April 30 as a digital download for the price of $14.99.
