Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate Whips Into Stores Next Spring; New Story Trailer Is Live

The portable follow-up to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has received a release date for both the US and Europe.

So not only has it been revealed that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate will come out in March 2013, but we also get a new story trailer. The game acts as an episode between the original game and its upcoming sequel on consoles, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. With its 2.5D graphics and gameplay, Mirror of Fate bridges the old Castlevania experiences with the new, as well as establishing links between generations of Belmonts.

The story takes place a quarter of a century after the events of the first game and stars Trevor Belmont, son of Gabriel. Watch the story trailer below to see how his adventure begins and to get a glimpse of a special character who, shall we say, is kind of a big deal in the series.
