Sora, Donald and Goofy are going to San Fransokyo as last year's hit Disney film Big Hero 6 will have its own world in Kingdom Hearts III.

According to Japanator, Disney announced at its D23 event this weekend that the world and characters of Big Hero 6 would be joining the ranks of Kingdom Hearts III. Sora and the gang will be entering San Fransokyo after the events of the movie, so expect all kinds of awesome superhero escapades and some astonishing encounters with Baymax, Hiro and the rest of the gang. We'd definitely be down to take on Yokai or whatever other villains would appear, just as long as Sora, Donald and Goofy get their own superhero outfits upon entering the stage.

Square Enix also released an announcement video featuring Disney producer Roy Conli (provided above), who confirmed Big Hero 6's addition and alluded to plenty of other big announcements for Kingdom Hearts III in the future. Unfortunately, there is no type of launch window attached to Kingdom Hearts III yet (I'm guesstimating a 2017 release), but it has been confirmed for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Dear Disney and Square Enix: we don't care how, but please include some Star Wars and Marvel worlds in Kingdom Hearts III. You can axe Frozen, Tangled or whatever other sing-songy worlds you had planned, but based on how long Kingdom Hearts III has been in development, we'd love to see Sora interact with Luke Skywalker and Iron Man.
