The newest trailer for Battlefield Hardline will drop your jaws, prompting you to marvel at the sheer insanity of the Hotwire mode.

We understand that the title might be strange, but those of you in the Battlefield know will probably recognize "Haggard" as a reference to the member of Bad Company who was obsessed with explosions. And of course the "Dukes" part is in reference to 'The Dukes of Hazzard', which included all kinds of high-flying, high-speed car chases.

In the Hotwire mode, both of these wonderful things come together to create an absolutely bonkers game mode that includes plenty of cars, shooting, explosives and ramps to send you flying. The object of the game, whether you're cops or criminals, is to get to the marked cars. Criminals will hotwire and steal the aforementioned cars while the cops try to perforate them with bullets. All in all, par for the course of a Battlefield game. And if you're counting, "par for the course" is the second Battlefield: Bad Company reference we've made today.

Expect Battlefield Hardline to debut in early 2015 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
