Ubisoft's cinematic and gameplay trailers for Assassin's Creed Syndicate feature some amazing depictions of Victorian era London.

The rebellious Jacob Frye will unite England's gangs and strong-arm his way to removing the Templars from power in London in Assassin's Creed Syndicate as seen by these two new trailers. Ubisoft has provided both a cinematic and gameplay trailer for Syndicate to show how things have changed this time around. As you would expect, the cinematic trailer focuses on capturing the essence of London and the thrill of the hunt.

In the gameplay footage trailer, we get to see the hunt itself. Watch as Jacob uses the new rope launcher/grappling hook system to get to higher ground faster and to traverse the world. We're certainly digging the new cane weapon, which houses its own hidden blade. As expected, the world is immense and filled with a variety of people and ambiance. Watching Syndicate left us hoping that Ubi won't make the same mistakes it made with Unity, which was simply too ambitious and had too much content without ironing out its fundamental gameplay mechanics.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate will launch on Oct. 23 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
