Sega has released a brand new trailer for Alien: Isolation at E3 2014 and if the game is half as amazing as the trailer is, let's just say that die-hard Aliens fans have a reason to move forward from 2013's Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Alien: Isolation takes place 15 years after the events of the first Alien movie and follows Amanda, Ellen Ripley's daughter, as the protagonist of the game. She sets off to investigate the disappearance of her mother by looking for flight recorder data on board the space station Sevastopol. But something evil and sinister is already lurking on board...

The game studio has announced that Alien: Isolation will be an homage to Ridley Scott's original film by emphasizing the stealth and horror aspects of the game as opposed to the shoot 'em up style of Aliens sequels. We definitely get this eerie vibe in the trailer which looks like the sequel we've always wanted in the Alien franchise.

Alien: Isolation will be available on October 7, 2014, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
