Ace Attorney 5 Trailer Shows Us How Phoenix Does His Job

Bird-haired lawyer Phoenix Wright is set to return to the spotlight in Ace Attorney 5, which will mark the series' debut on the Nintendo 3DS. But until we hear word of any solid release date for North America, we can check out the new Japanese trailer which features Phoenix doing what he does best.

The game will come out in Japan this summer on July 25th, 2013. There are no hints of any release dates for North America, but at least Capcom is releasing a steady stream of trailers and videos that show off how Ace Attorney 5 looks on the 3DS.

And the video below gives us a look at Phoenix, his new sidekick named Kizuki Kokone, and Apollo Justice, the star of the 4th Ace Attorney game, hard at work and serving out some steaming piles of justice. We get a peek at how Phoenix investigates crime scenes in 3D, grills witnesses on the stand, and can figure out when a witness is lying, thanks to Kizuki's Heart Scope.
