Yoshi’s New Island Trailer: An Egg-celent Launch

We get to see some of Yoshi's classic moves, along with some new ones, in this launch trailer for Yoshi's New Island.

In this newest trailer, we are introduced to some of the new mechanics of this adorable Mario spin-off series. Watch as Yoshi tries to eat a giant Shy Guy and convert him into a massive egg. Be prepared to button spam in order to help Yoshi swallow this colossal, awesome-looking enemy. Keep an eye out for the return of Poochy, tricky egg projectile shots, 3DS-exclusive minigames, new fruit powers and more transformations (the copter is back). Unfortunately, Baby Mario's shrieks are just as cringeworthy as ever.

Yoshi's New Island will be arriving on store shelves on March 14 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
