One of the most bizarre titles from the PlayStation Experience, What Remains of Edith Finch, is also one of the PS4's most promising.

This trailer for What Remains of Edith Finch doesn't tell us much, but Ian Dallas, a Creative Director from Giant Sparrow, offered a lot of insight about this mysterious game on the PlayStation Blog. While the team's first project, The Unfinished Swan, wasn't horror, Edith Finch continues in its footsteps with surreal-like art. This game is a collection of short stories about a family in Washington State dealing with a heavy curse. The game will offer different perspectives across the family's lineage, ranging from the 1900s to modern times (similar to Eternal Darkness perhaps?). While you play different characters, each story is done in first-person and ends with that family member's death (yup, Eternal Darkness). Edith Finch will learn her horrible family history while try to undo the curse that has haunted her bloodline for so long.

Giant Sparrow and SCE Santa Monica have some time to tell a great story, because What Remains of Edith Finch will launch in 2016 for PlayStation 4.
