Despite a very noticeable hiccup on the main stage, Naughty Dog had one of the most impressive demos of E3 2015 with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.

To much surprise, Naughty Dog had one of the best showings of E3 2015 in the form of Uncharted 4 as well as one of the show's biggest foul ups. In the video posted above from the official PlayStation YouTube account, Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan start off in a calm, populated part of Madagascan City. During the live E3 2015 performance, the beginning sequence of the demo glitched with Nathan standing there motionless for an awkward minute or two. Nevertheless, Naughty Dog was able to rectify the situation and continue in the demo as we see in the optimized version featured above. Watch Nate and Sully get into a shootout with some despicable individuals who are willing to open fire in populated areas filled with civilians. It kind of sucks to see that after four games, Nate still doesn't know how to throw grenades back at his enemies.

The shootout pushes the PS4 to the limit while upholding crisp visuals and a smooth frame rate. The gunfight eventually turns into an epic car chase through the hilly, Madagascan streets. Players actually control the 4x4 Drake and Sully haul through the town while being chased by an enemy assault vehicle. We also got a look at the new grappling hook/swinging mechanic towards the end of the demo. Everything is looking quite amazing, and despite the hiccup in the beginning of the presentation (which could have been a controller/syncing issue), Uncharted 4 is gearing up to be a must-have game for the PS4.

While no release date was revealed, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will launch sometime in 2016. The original trilogy is getting the HD remaster treatment when Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection launches on Oct. 9, 2015.
