Tomb Raider Prequel Comic Coming from Dark Horse

Crystal Dynamics and Dark Horse are teaming to bring Lara Croft back to the world of comic books.

There have been Tomb Raider comics in the past, but it has been quite some time since Lara graced the pages of a graphic adventure. Starting with Tomb Raider: The Beginning, Dark Horse is looking to return the rebooted heroine to the world of comics.

With a story from Tomb Raider's writer Rhianna Pratchet, Tomb Raider: The Beginning will set the stage for how everyone on the ship came together. The 48-page hardcover will be made available to Best Buy customers first, with others able to pick up the book at a later date. Following the release of the game, Dark Horse will announce plans for further comic stories starring Ms. Croft.

Tomb Raider will be out on March 5th for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
