Normally we wouldn't put our reaction to a trailer right there in the headline, but we've never seen a trailer like this one before and there's really no other appropriate reaction: just what the hell is going on here?

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is bringing the insane roguelike and its religious overtones to the Sony family of consoles, giving a whole new group of people access to one of the craziness. This new version boasts "more items, more enemies, more bosses, local co-op, all-new art direction and a killer new soundtrack that will BLOW YOUR MIND" according to the official announcement.

While we do get to see some gameplay in this trailer, and veterans of the game know what to expect before the new version comes out, those who haven't played the game will probably have a lot more questions than answers. What's with the static and strange masked naked people? Who's singing that creepy music? Most importantly, is the game as creepy and unsettling as this trailer? We don't know about you guys, but we're going to boot up the original on Steam to see what it's all about before the remake comes out. After watching that trailer, we feel like we have to.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth launches Nov. 4 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
