Sometimes, the world just seems unfair, and sometimes teens in Florida think video games warrant a call to 9-1-1.

Some people get a little more freaked out by emergencies than other. Personally, my grandma took me to the hospital because I had a tick in my belly button. However, the teen in Florida who called 9-1-1 because PlayStation Network was getting DDoSed seems to take the cake. Kotaku reports that the teen called and when an operator picked up asked, "Do you know about the whole thing that's going on with the PlayStation Network?" The confused operator had to consult with her other coworkers just to figure out what the teen was talking about. You can see the partial transcript in the tweet that was sent out by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office later that day.

It seems that some people need to reassess their definition of an emergency. We'll give you a hint -- it's not the PlayStation Network being down.
