Capcom's Yoshinori Ono unveiled the newest addition to Street Fighter V at the Games15 show in Dubai. Say hello to Rashid, Cody fans are going to love him.

GameSpot reports that Capcom recently unveiled their newest member of Street Fighter V, and he wasn't what you were expecting. Rashid is capable of aerial dive kicks and jumping off of walls, and he's able to use small tornadoes as short-range projectiles. These tornadoes can be jumped on by Rashid in order to enhance his cross-up game. He also has some kind of giant Critical Art attack that has his lower torso spinning like the Tasmanian Devil. This corroborates a supposed leak that Rashid was one of the characters. According to this leak, the other two new characters will be an Indian fighter named Zen and a Brazilian brawler named Laura (which lower the chances for Dhalsim or Blanka returning). Courtesy of Emiratendo, who openly shows his discontent for the character, we get to see video footage of Rashid's unveiling, provided above.

Capcom has revealed that Street Fighter V will be launching with 16 characters on its starting lineup, which includes four all-new characters. So far, we know that Necalli and Rashid are part of these new characters, so don't be surprised if you see Laura or Zen announced sometime by the end of the year. Street Fighter IV started off with a roster of 19 core fighters: Abel, C. Viper, Rufus, El Fuerte, Seth, Gouken, Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, E. Honda, Blanka, Zangief, Guile, Dhalsim, Balrog, Vega, Sagat, M. Bison and Akuma.

Rashid joins the list of Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Birdie, Cammy, M. Bison, Nash, Necalli, Vega and R. Mika for confirmed SFV characters. There are only three classic characters and two new fighters left to meet. We've got our money on Urien, Alex and Karen.

Street Fighter V will debut in the spring of 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PC with cross-play functionality between the two.
