Hey everyone, STFU... is coming to Steam this summer. The formerly Xbox-exclusive Super Time Force will be available on Valve’s digital distribution platform under the new title, Super Time Force Ultra, or STFU for short.

Described by developer Capybara Games as “if Braid and Contra had a party,” Super Time Force is one of the year’s most inventive and fun downloadable titles. The game is the result of a three day experiment at the Toronto Game Jam in 2011 that tasked developers with creating a game around the simple phrase, “What Just Happened?”  This led to Kenneth Yeung, Mike Nguyen and Vic Nguyen creating “a Contra game where you can go back in time."

Combining elements of side-scrolling shooters with time control, the game has garnered universal critical acclaim and thrilled legions of fans hoping to save the dinosaurs from extinction. A Steam release is sure to attract even more players, and Capybara promises to add “some very cool (but presently very secret) stuff” to the PC release.

Additionally, the Super Time Force soundtrack is now available for purchase on iTunes and Bandcamp. The 53-track album features chiptunes by artist 6955 is on sale for $9.99, and individual tracks can be purchased for $0.99 apiece.
