Popular horror game Slender: The Arrival will be making the jump from PC to consoles early this year. Prepare for all the creepypasta you can handle.

Developed by Blue Isle Studios and Parsec Productions, Slender: The Arrival is the sequel to Slender: The Eight Pages. According to CVG, the title will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime during the first quarter of 2014. The console version will feature two all-new levels, which will unlock after the main story has been completed. These new stages allow you to play as the Slender Man's victims. The PC version, which arrived in October of last year, will get these stages as a free update once the console versions arrive.

If you are unfamiliar with the Slender Man, his legend describes him as a tall, skinny man dressed in a black suit. He's got no discernible features on his face, and has tendrils protruding from his back. Slender Man can be found in the woods most often, and preys mostly on children, though it's not uncommon for him to attack more adult victims, too. Though Slender Man is no joke, it will be interesting to see just how long you can survive in this obviously scientific gaming demonstration, which will act as a Slender Man preparedness test.
