No. 7: Crono in Chrono Trigger

It’s not always a good idea to stand up to the bad guy. That’s a lesson learned the hard way by Crono when he defiantly refuses to back down against Lavos. Unfortunately, even though he’s one of the heroes of Chrono Trigger, Lavos obliterates Crono with a magnificent blast of energy. Though it appears all is lost, Crono can come back to life thanks to some dubious cloning technology, but that doesn’t take anything away from the bold stand Crono made just moments earlier in the game.
