NIS America is getting a parachute ready, because Rodea the Sky Soldier will be making its way to North America and Europe on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Gematsu reports that the new action video game by Prope, Rodea the Sky Soldier, will be flying its way overseas to make it to North America and Europe this September. The game just released in Japan on April 2, but NIS America has very high hopes for it. If you're wondering what this game is about (and rightly so since it's so new), it's a action-oriented flight simulator with a twist — you will complete levels by figuring out the puzzles that are presented to you. The artwork above should give you a hint as to what you should expect.

The game's key features include the flying you will be doing throughout the puzzles as well as the weapons, stats and abilities you can level up after defeating bosses in huge battles. You will be able to replay whichever level you like, so if you didn't get the score or the loot you wanted the first time, you can always go back for round two... or three... or seven. Flying a path to victory is the only way, so make sure to spread those wings. You will be playing as the robot Rodea whose only goal is to defend Garuda from the Naga Empire (not the Azeroth kind) to allow them to live in peace once more.

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for Rodea the Sky Soldier's release on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in North America on Sept. 22 and in Europe on Sept. 25. First edition copies of Rodea will include a disk with the original Wii version of the game for free.
