We might have spotted a screen a box art for Resident Evil Revelations 2, but now an announcement has made the game official!

According to the "concept teaser" trailer above and JoyStiq, the sequel to the hit 3DS game will be arriving in "early 2015" on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

The title's development was confirmed by Capcom during the Sony Entertainment of Japan press conference. Revelations 2 will not star veterans Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, but will feature brand new characters, as well as a new story and setting. Other than a handful of teaser materials, not much else has been revealed about the title.

In the concept teaser above, we see a little girl run through a building in her pajamas while holding a teddy bear. As she runs, everyone who had been wearing a glowing, green wristband becomes a zombie, and the wristbands turn red. There's a man wearing a TerraSave shirt in the middle of the building. In the film 'Resident Evil: Degeneration', TerraSave is the human rights organization of which Claire Redfield is a part. Maybe we'll be seeing her in Revelations 2?

We'll keep you updated on this title as more information is revealed. For now, try to figure out what it all means in the teaser above.
