Ubisoft will be bringing Rayman Legends to all platforms in the U.S. on September 3rd, and has released a new trailer showing off the Wii U-exclusive Challenge app.

Originally slated to arrive earlier this year for the Wii U, Ubisoft decided to hold off on releasing Rayman Legends until later this year so it could be made available on all consoles. This ticked off some Wii U owners who believed they'd be getting a console exclusive (limited as it may be) game for a system in dire need of top-tier titles. As a result, Ubisoft created a new Challenge app available only on the Wii U, which was released on Thursday.

There are nine different modes to play through in the Challenge app, which take place on four different maps. You can unlock new heroes to play as by completing both daily and weekly challenges, and you can view how you stack up against the competition on the leaderboards. Check out the trailer below for a better look at what lies in wait in Rayman Legends on the Wii U.
