Sony unveiled the first three choices for its Vote to Play initiative, which will let PS Plus subscribers choose which titles are free to download the following month.

Voting begins this week for PlayStation's Vote to Play program. The PlayStation Blog unveiled three titles fans can vote for to join the Instant Game Collection for the month of September. In order to vote, you simply log on to your PlayStation 4 with your PSN account. Go to "What's New," "Notifications" or visit the PlayStation Plus area of the PS Store in order to start voting. The game that wins will be included in September's free game's lineup. The other two runners-up will be available to download at a discounted price.

In terms of choices, we have Zombie Vikings, which is a 4-player co-op game featuring hilarious undead warriors. Zombie Vikings is my personal choice of the three considering that it came from the studio that developed Stick it to the Man. Grow Home has you playing as a botanical utility droid who must explore a strange new world comprised of gorgeous, minimalist-style designs. Armello is a grim fairy-tale board game gone live, featuring plenty of RPG and tabletop strategy elements. While I'd be happy with any of these choices, I do hope we get a second PlayStation 4 title offered for free next month.
