Pre-orders for the upcoming Ubisoft games, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Watch Dogs, are reportedly higher on the next-gen consoles than they are on current-gen ones.

According to MCV UK, Ubisoft's Alain Corre said that the amount of pre-orders for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Watch Dogs are higher than those on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.

Corre said, "“The fans are really excited to get their hands on the new technology. It has been eight years without a home console from Sony or Microsoft so we feel a lot of excitement from our fans for Watch Dogs or Assassin’s Creed IV."

It's looking like it's going to be full steam ahead for Ubisoft heading into the next generation of consoles. Let us know what you think of the amount of next-gen pre-orders their games are getting in the comments below.
