An official Ubisoft retail website has listed the expected launch window for Watch Dogs on Wii U.

Ubisoft's Uplay shop has listed the Wii U version of Watch Dogs for a fall release. Hopefully the Central Operating System which runs the city of Chicago in Watch Dogs (and is the basis of most of its hacker gameplay) will be fully integrated into the Wii's unique controller.

We have been anticipating the Wii U version of Watch Dogs due to the possibility of touchpad-oriented hacking mechanics we're hoping to encounter on the Wii U's GamePad. Since Watch Dogs revolves around the ability to hack every single mobile and computer-based device you encounter throughout the game's mechanized version of Chicago, the Wii U's GamePad could provide some stellar hacking sequences and could also give players a different outlook towards Aiden Pearce's world.

Watch Dogs is slated for a May 27 release on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
