Everyone might be worrying about whether or not Ben Affleck can pull off the Dark Knight, but here comes Superman to remind us that he's still in charge of the Justice League. Turbine Inc. and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are unveiling more and more characters for the upcoming multiplayer online battle arena game, Infinite Crisis, and the newest character can leap tall buildings in a single bound.

Fans might recognize Turbine, Inc. for its work with massively multiplayer online role-playing games, such as The Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons & Dragons Online and Asheron's Call. Since Turbine was recently acquired by Warner Bros. Interactive, we're glad to see such an experienced team is handling one of DC's biggest properties when it comes to superhero crossovers. This tale revolves around superheroes and villains from alternate universes crossing over into ours and causing all sorts of trouble. For this reason, you can expect to see a variety of DC characters, and their alternative counterparts, interacting in this free-to-play MOBA title.

In Turbine's newest video, the focus is on the Last Son of Krypton, his abilities and how he handles himself on the battlefield. The first highlight is on the Man of Steel's passive ability, which grants him a shield after attacking. The more attacks you chain after it, the longer the shield lasts; this would be Infinite's way of explaining Superman's invulnerability. Superman also has Frost Breath, which slows enemies down, and Heat Vision, which pushes them back and allows Kae-El to dash after his opponent for another hit. Finally, we have Speeding Bullet, Superman's ultimate attack. Speeding Bullet lets Superman fly across the screen towards any enemy that you have selected on the screen. He can take damage while flying, but can't be disabled, which means you are guaranteed to hit your target and land by them no matter what. Don't expect this guy kneeling to anyone, Zod.

Be on the lookout for Infinite Crisis when it comes out later this year, in the meantime, feel free to sign up for Infinite Crisis' open beta.
