Pirates vs Criminals and Birds in Ace Attorney 5

More Ace Attorney 5 information has dropped today, courtesy of Capcom and a translation by Kotaku. We finally get a look at Phoenix Wright’s opponent this time around, and he kind of looks like an emo band had a baby with Cody from Street Fighter.

Meet Jin Yuugami, a prisoner convicted of murder who just so happens to also be a prosecutor. Hey, Phoenix Wright has cross examined the dead before, OK? Weirder things have happened.

Jin has a reputation of being incredibly manipulative in the courtroom, able to tug on the heartstrings of not only the jury but also his opposing attorneys. Jin’s first appearance will take place in Chapter 2, where he will square off against Apollo Justice, pre-pirate bandages. Something tells us he has something to do with the reason Apollo got all those bandages in the first place.

This also means that you will be able to control both Phoenix and Apollo in Ace Attorney 5. As of now it is unclear as to whether or not you will be taking control of other attorneys. Here’s hoping that Miles Edgeworth makes an appearance.
