Our favorite supernatural mystery-solving high school sleuths from Persona 3 and Persona 4 are back in this new trailer for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. And, like we've grown accustomed to, it starts out with a calendar, trickling down the days.

Both crews of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad and the Investigation Team are attending a cultural fair at Yasogami High School, one of the settings from Persona 4, when they come upon a clock tower that's not supposed to be there. The next thing you know, both teams are fighting back Shadows and are confronted by two mysterious new figures. Your job will be to pick one of the protagonists from either Persona 3 and Persona 4 and solve the mystery of the clock tower.

The trailer gives us a peek at many different story elements and even a bit of the first-person, Etrian Odyssey-like combat we'll get to partake in within the game's dungeons. The story seems to be told primarily through chibi-styled anime cutscenes, one of which even features a cameo from Catherine's Vincent Brooks, complete with his heart-specked boxers and pillow.

Check out the blending of worlds in the trailer above and wait for Persona Q's launch in Japan on the 3DS on June 5, 2013. We're still waiting for a release date for the North American version, but we'll update you when it's announced.
