This new trailer for One Piece: Super Grand Battle X pushes the Nintendo 3DS to the limits and lets us look at its amiibo figure compatibility in action.

Bandai Namco just posted a new trailer for One Piece: Super Grand Battle X which debuted at Jump Festa 2014 this weekend. This trailer showcases everything Japanese gamers are loving about Super Grand Battle X, whose graphics rival Super Smash Bros. when it comes to redlining the visual capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS.

One Piece: Super Grand Battle X is one of the first third-party games to offer compatibility with Nintendo's line of amiibo figurines. Towards the end of this new One Piece trailer, we get to see just what the figures can do -- they dress Luffy and the gang up like some of our favorite Nintendo characters. Of course, Luffy gets the Mario outfit.

Unfortunately, there are still no plans of One Piece: Super Grand Battle X (which launched in Japan last month) getting a western release.
