Sony has announced there will be very little support for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale in the future, with no more DLC of any sort planned.

According to the latest support update post on the PSASBR forums, the multiplayer brawler will no longer receive new characters or stages. There had been some leaked art for possible future content, but the characters represented there were just concepts. "In the course of any game's development, there are always elements that never quite get finished or the team decides not to use in the final game," said the post.

However, though no new fighters will be added to the fray, there are still some fixes coming, as well as a few new costumes. On Aug. 27, costumes for Dante, Raiden, Heihachi and Big Daddy (all previously only obtainable as pre-order incentives) will be available for free. The same is true of Zeus and Isaac, but those costumes won't be coming until the fall when the balance update arrives. Additionally, the leaderboards will now be reset monthly, which in turn means monthly seasons will be back.
