The next Pokemon online distribution event has been detailed by The Pokemon Company, and this one is rich with creepy crawlies.

Starting Aug. 13, Pinsir and Heracross, both originally exclusive to one of the games, will be available via the internet for the opposite version. That means that Pinsir will be available to download in Pokemon Y, while Heracross will make his first official appearance in Pokemon X. Both Pokemon will be Level 50 with an Adamant Nature, though their movesets will be different: Heracross will come with Bullet Seed, Pin Missile, Close Combat, and Megahorn; while Pinsir will sport X-Scissor, Earthquake, Stone Edge, and Return.

In tandem with this, any Pokemon trainers who download the Pokemon then head to GameStop from Aug. 18-31 will receive that Pokemon's Mega Stone for some sweet Mega Evolution action. Two downloads, one requiring a small field trip, could land you a brand new Mega Evolution-capable Pokemon just in time to explore the Hoenn region again in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. That's a pretty good deal.

Just in case you don't remember how to use the Mystery Gift function of the game, the official announcement page on the Pokemon website will fill you in. Also, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are coming to 3DS on Nov. 22, so get your teams ready.
